Docs / Agents
More than one model
Let two agents work in turns, compare answers from several models, set a standing goal, or ask something on the side without disturbing the agent.
Duo
Write a goal, click the Duo icon in the input field, pick a partner and at most 4, 8 or 12 answers. The chat’s provider starts; then the other gets the history and the task to check the work, fix mistakes and build on. It ends when both write “DUO: FERTIG”, the limit is reached or you stop it. After an error or a limit it pauses and Fortsetzen continues.
Several models at once
On the start screen, ⇧-click up to three more models in the model picker. Your prompt then goes to all of them, each in its own chat and, in a repository, its own worktree. Antworten vergleichen puts the answers side by side with status, time, tool calls and changed files.
Standing goals with /goal
/goal <goal> sets a goal and starts on it right away. The agent keeps working until the goal is checked as reached. Claude, Codex, Kimi and Antigravity use their own goal system, all others run in AyCode’s check loop. /goal pause, /goal resume and /goal clear steer it.
Side questions with /btw
/btw <question> or ⌘; asks a helper next to the chat. The running agent is not interrupted and never sees it. Good for “what does this flag do again?” while a long task runs.
Quick chat from anywhere
⌥Space (Windows: Alt+Space) opens a small floating box over any app. Enter asks a quick question, ⌘Enter turns it into a real chat in the chosen project, Esc closes it. Inside AyCode, ⌘⇧K and /q open the same box. You can change the key under Settings → Quick chat.
