AyNotes
AyNotes records meetings and calls, writes them down on your computer and saves a clean note with decisions and tasks in your vault.
How it works
- Open AyNotes in the sidebar, give the meeting a title and choose the source (Teams, 3CX or other).
- Confirm that everyone knows and agrees. Without that tick nothing records.
- Record. Your microphone and the other side (system audio) are kept apart.
- Stop. AyNotes transcribes, summarises and saves a new note in your vault. It never overwrites an existing note.
Recording other people needs their consent. AyNotes can suggest a recording when Teams or 3CX use the microphone, but it never starts on its own.
On your computer
Transcription runs locally with whisper.cpp (Einrichten downloads the model once). An OpenAI-compatible cloud service can be used instead, with a clear privacy warning. Language, special terms and the summary provider are set under Settings → AyNotes.
Tasks from meetings
Tasks found in your meetings of the last 45 days are listed on the AyNotes home. Offene Aufgaben an den Agenten hands the open ones to an agent, and Dazu fragen on a note opens the quick chat about it.
Recording works on the Mac. Phones can read finished meetings but not record.
