iPhone, Apple Watch and Android
Read along, answer and approve from your phone or wrist. The connection goes straight to your computer, encrypted.
Pairing a phone
- In AyCode open Settings → Phone and switch on the phone connection.
- Click Handy koppeln (pair phone). A QR code appears, valid once for five minutes.
- Scan it with the AyCode app on your iPhone or Android phone, or open the
aycode://pairlink.
Each phone can get full access or Nur lesen (read only), and you see its last few actions. The connection stays in your network; from outside it works over VPN, Tailscale or AyCode Cloud.
What the phone can do
- Projects, chats and answers live as they are written; send messages and stop answers.
- Approve from the notification, with Face ID if you like.
- Brain search and graph, Aylinge, groups, usage, history and files.
- Live Activity, widgets, and a new chat from Siri, Spotlight, the Action Button or Control Centre.
- After a call, AyCode offers to dictate a short call note. It never records the call.
Phones cannot commit or push, cannot record AyNotes, and follow team sessions read-only.
Apple Watch
The Watch shows what runs and what waits, opens a chat, lets you dictate an answer or start a new chat, and offers up to four quick replies of your own. Complications show running and waiting chats and your fullest limit.
Keeping the Mac awake, and waking it
- Wach bleiben keeps the computer awake while AyCode runs; Auch zugeklappt wach bleiben even with the lid closed. A small guard restores sleep when AyCode quits or the battery drops below 15 %.
- iPhone and Watch can wake a sleeping Mac in your home network (Wake-on-LAN): “Hey Siri, weck meinen Mac mit AyCode”, a widget or a Control Centre toggle. The Mac needs “Wake for network access”.
- With a phone connected and the computer idle for three minutes, AyCode shows a calm standby screen with a clock and your running chats.
