Changes, diffs and git
See what an agent changes while it works, comment on single lines, ask a second model for a review and commit when you are happy.
Watching edits live
- While an answer runs, a small card above the input field shows the file being edited, with rolling line counts and the first changed lines.
- Hover a +1 −1 on a step to see exactly which lines changed.
- Running chats show their +/− in the sidebar too.
The changes panel
Open Änderungen in the right sidebar or click the changed-files chip of an answer. Switch between Dieser Zug (this turn) and Alle Änderungen dieses Chats (all changes).
Comments on lines
Hover a line and click the comment button. In den Chat (or ⌘Enter) puts your comment into the input field as a quote with file, line and code, so the agent knows exactly what you mean.
Tick Im Brain merken (remember in Brain) and the comment is also added to Reviews/<project>.md in your vault, so the next agent learns from it.
A second opinion
Zweite Meinung … in the changes panel lets another provider review the changes of a turn or the whole chat. It reads only, sorts findings by importance with file and line, and ends with a clear yes or no.
Commit, push, pull request
- Click Committen … in the changes panel.
- Vorschlag erzeugen drafts a commit message from the diff.
- Choose Committen, Committen & pushen or Committen, pushen & PR öffnen.
A chat in its own worktree gets In „<Branch>“ übernehmen: its work lands as one commit on your branch, without push or PR. AyCode never overwrites uncommitted work there; on a conflict nothing changes and the files are named.
Start a worktree chat from the start screen (Worktree) or with ⌘K Neuer Chat im Worktree. A setup command per project (e.g. npm ci) can run in every new worktree.
